Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than twenty years. She is most well-known for her part in House which airs on Fox. Born in Wayne with a strict Jewish customs, she emigrated in New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in theatre at Tisch School of the Arts. She was soon involved in the club scene, creating enough fuss that she caught the attention of the media. Then, she combined her fame and talent with her writing skills and composition abilities to create a show called Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed a job at MTV as host of Awake in the Wild Side. When it ended up going off the air, she was able to appear in films and television production, initially in short roles before establishing herself as an actress.
